Next meeting, 6 June 2022, 8.00 pm with Barrie Hay (Virtual Meeting)

Our next meeting will take place on Monday 6 June 2022 at 8.00 pm via Zoom (virtual meeting). Please email our Group Secretary if you wish to join the meeting.

Our speaker will be Barrie Hay, who is the Amnesty Regional Coordinator for the former Soviet Union. He will talk mainly about Russia and the increasingly repressive nature of laws that have been introduced; the annexation of Crimea and the ongoing abuses in Ukraine and Belarus since the disputed presidential election in August 2020. He will also talk about some current Individuals at Risk cases.

There will be updates on our group campaigns and we will speak about new urgent actions.
