Pit Your Wits at Quiz Night

Quiz lovers in Sutton Coldfield are being urged to put together a team for the annual Amnesty International brain buster.

Organised by the Sutton Coldfield branch of the international human rights charity, the quiz will feature a range of general knowledge questions from sport to celebrities and music to modern history.

The quiz takes place at Sutton Town Football Club in Coles Lane, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1NL at 8pm on Friday April 8. Entry costs £4 per person with teams of up to six people.

The event is a fundraiser for the local group with all proceeds going to support Amnesty International's work campaigning for human rights around the globe.

Sutton Coldfield Amnesty International chairman and quiz master Andrew Hindle said: “Our annual quiz has built up quite a following but there’s always room for more. We’d love to have some new people at this year’s event – there’s no need to book in advance, just come along.

“It’s always lots of fun, there’s a raffle and it’s a chance to support prisoners of conscience around the world.”

The Sutton Coldfield branch of Amnesty International meets on the second Tuesday of every month (except August) at 8pm in the Conference Centre, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 69 Lichfield Road, Sutton Coldfield, B74 2NU. New members are always given a warm welcome.
