We welcome all new and "old hand" Amnesty Int'l members who want to become grassroots activists by joining our South East local groups and/or the Surrey and Sussex Network.

We campaign on both national human rights issues (like Scrap Prevent Duty, Every Day Rights, British individuals detained abroad) and international ones (focusing on countries or themes like women rights, antiracism, trade unions, children rights, refugee and migrant rights or LGBTIQ+ rights).

Most of the time we fundraise for our human rights campaigning work, organise events and public stunts in our local area to raise public awareness, call to action for individuals or communities at risk and engage with our MPs.
