Take part in the world's biggest human rights event - Write for Rights

This year, despite the difficulties we are all facing, Stratford Amnesty Group is taking part in our annual Write for Rights Campaign. Our own restrictions may even in a small way, sharpen our understanding of what if feels like to be denied access to our normal lives and the people we love.

Join the campaign and change a life today

When we all act together, we are more powerful. That is the driving force behind Write for Rights, Amnesty’s global campaign and the world’s biggest human rights event.

The people you are helping today want to make the word a better place. They are demanding justice, and human rights for all. Many have been imprisoned, disappeared and attacked.

Every year, millions of individuals write letters, sign petitions and organise events. And it works! People are freed, justice is served, and the world becomes a better place. Every action counts, and these people need your help. Act now.

We are focussing on four particular cases. They are Germain Rukuki from Burundi, Paing Pho Min from Myanmar, Idris Khattak from Pakistan and Massima al-Sada from Saudi Arabia. By clicking on these links you can quickly and easily find out more about these individuals and add your name to an online petition urging the authorities in their countries to restore their human rights.

But we would love you to do even more by returning to our main website and following the links to these individuals where you can find further ways to help.

Many thanks from Stratford on Avon Amnesty International who send all good wishes for 2021.
