Online talk by Azza Soliman

Many Amnesty members in Stratford on Avon will be familiar with the name of Azza Soliman who was our group’s special case for three years from 2017. She is an Egyptian Human Rights lawyer internationally recognised for her work providing legal assistance for women subject to domestic abuse and trafficking. She has a progressive interpretation of Muslim law and is co-founder of an international organisation seeking justice and equality in Muslim families.

The Research Centre for Applied Human Rights at the University of York has organised an online talk by her on Friday 28th May from 12 noon to 1pm. If you would like to hear the views of one of the people whose case we have worked on, then you can do so by following this link:
