April and May

The Stratford Amnesty Group has no scheduled meetings or events in April or May. In June we will review and update our plans, so please check the website again to see what is happening over the summer and into the autumn.

Meanwhile the AIUK website offers opportunities to write letters and sign petitions on behalf of those who are subject to human rights abuses. Please take action at: www.amnesty.org.uk

Finally, some good news - at least for the moment. Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe has been given temporary leave (until April 4th) from the Iranian prison where she has been detained for the last four years. Click here  to read about her situation. We are all hoping this will lead to her unconditional release and return her to the UK and her family.
