Free Nazanin

Stratford on Avon Amnesty group is supporting the Free Nazanin campaign group to urge the members of the Revolutionary Guard in Iran to free Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe from jail where she is being unjustly held following a family holiday three years ago.

If you would like to help we suggest the following text on either a card or letter to draw further attention to her case:

Addressed to:

Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran

16 Princes Gate

London

'Dear Ambassador Hamid Baeidinejad

I am writing to you as a supporter of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Richard Ratcliffe. We call on you to continue to use all of your influence to help secure the release of Nazanin so that she can return to the UK with her daughter. In view of the time she has already served in the jail and her health problems you have already made statements suggesting that she may be eligible for release on compassionate grounds. This being the case then the time to act is now

I also call for an immediate visit to Nazanin by the British Embassy to check on her health and wellbeing. If no release is granted to Nazanin in the next few weeks her husband Richard has asked to be granted a visa to visit Iran and see his daughter and wife. I call on you to support Richard's visa application.

Finally I ask you to support and respect the peaceful protest outside the Iranian embassy that has taken place over the past weeks.

Yours sincerely'
