The Bundle, a story about human rights denied

'The Bundle' is a performance by The Journeyman Theatre, to be held in the Court Room, The Old Police Station, Chipping Campden at 7.30 on October 5th. This tells a story, closely based on the trials of a real woman and her three young children, who are denied human rights in Chechnya. The woman is removed from the Russian homeland by her Chechen father, abducted into a forced marriage and subjected to a life of servitude. She takes the ultimate risk in planning her escape to the UK where she finds a home but also encounters the Home Office's environment with regard to asylum seekers and refugees.

Tickets are £8 in advance from Ann Allen ann@allen.co.uk or £10 on the door. All profits will go to Gloucestershire Action for Asylum and Refugee Seekers, who like the Stratford Welcome Here Group are currently meeting the challenges of settling Syrian families into their new homes.
