Stockport Amnesty Group would like to thank the Amaretti Chamber Orchestra for their fundraising concert at St Andrew’s Church, Cheadle Hulme on Saturday 9th May.
The Amaretti Orchestra is a local string Orchestra made up of experienced amateurs, music teachers and professional players.
An audience of over 200 enjoyed an evening of music including Mozart, Berlioz, Handel and Mahler, with superb performances from 6 soloist singers from the Royal Northern College of Music.
The evening raised over £1000 for Amnesty International and their current campaign to save the Human Rights Act.
The next Amaretti performances are as part of the Buxton Festival Fringe on 18th July.
