Stockport Amnesty Group 50th Anniversary

Spring 2021 is the 60th Anniversary of Amnesty International and the 50th Anniversary of the founding of a group in Cheadle Hulme. Join us for a virtual celebration.

This Zoom meeting  on Saturday 24th April celebrates 50 years of activism in Stockport for Amnesty International. We have put together a video of memories from members and ex members of the group. We remember the people and campaigns which affected us most. After streaming the video we will raise a toast to the continuing work of Amnesty International and there will be time to chat and catch up with old friends.
The event opens, in true Stockport Amnesty fashion, at 7:45pm for an 8:00pm start!
