International Women's Day

As our March meeting fell soon after Internal Women's Day we decided to have a meeting that focussed on women.  We wrote letters in support of the women who were featured in the current 'Real Lives' supplement and also heard from one of our members who recently travelled to Ghana where she met some inspiring women.  We ate cakes, baked by one of our members, to raise funds for a project that supports homeless women in London (it's always good to have an excuse to eat cake), and also welcomed two new (female) members to the group.  A good time was had by all.
