February 2016 Meeting

At our Februaury meeting we watched some short films about the current crisis in Yemen. This has been perpetrated by a Saudi-led coalition and fought with weapons sold by Britain and the US. At least 10,000 Yemenis are thought to have died, many of them civilians.

We collected signatures for Amnesty's petition to the UK government, calling upon them to stop selling arms to Saudi Arabia following deadly airstrikes on civilians in Yemen. If you missed the meeting, you can sign the petition here:
