Modern Slavery in the UK

The next online group meeting is on Tuesday 21st September, at 7:15pm. Simon John, Secretary of the Rotary Action Group against Slavery and Secretary of the Amnesty International Thetford Group, will be joining us to talk about modern slavery in the UK. Simon's talk will look at modern slavery from a human rights perspective, comparing modern slavery with transatlantic slavery, and discuss its prevalence both globally and in the UK.

Join us on Tuesday the 21st to find out more about modern slavery and what we can do to contribute to the ending of modern slavery both in terms of consumerism and being vigilant in one's community.

Online meetings are open to member and non-members alike. If you would like to receive a link to the online meeting please contact chair@oxford-amnesty.org.uk
