Photo showing destroy buildings in Gaza and young man with head in his hands. Text advertises the vigil in Cromer at 10.30am on Saturday 15 November

We meet this Saturday in the usual place in front of the closed Lloyds bank from 10.30-12.00 noon

Although it has been announced that  Zikim gate is being opened in Northern Gaza, Raffah crossing is still sealed and of the agreed 600 trucks a day that should be entering Gaza only 170 are getting through.   Items such as syringes and baby milk are being held back.

Hamas have reported that  Israeli attacks have killed 271 people, over 90 percent of them civilians, and wounded 622 more since the ceasefire took effect on October 10.

Settler attacks are increasing in the West Bank with businesses, farms and houses destroyed by fire while the IDF look on.

The Israeli parliament has pushed forward an amendment proposing the death penalty for any Palestinian convicted of killing Jewish citizens. It must pass a second and third reading before becoming law.
