On Saturday 14^th June, 2025, we joined live artists, circus performers, musicians and vendors in a summer community festival for Eid. The event was organised by Soul City Arts, an organisation advocating for art as a vessel for community connection and transformation.

The atmosphere at this event was one of joy. We had many inspiring conversations with other local activist groups and members of the broader Kings Heath Community. We even had our first avian connection with Baby Birdie, ‘The Smethwick Parrot’. 

It was a delight to have a place in a community lead event such as Eid in Kings Heath.
