Write for Rights in Minehead

We had a busy time in Minehead, writing letters and signing cards for people featured in the 2019 Write for Rights campaign. A letter writing afternoon on 14 November resulted in 39 letters written. In addition, two members wrote a further 17 letters at home and another member got her friends together and sent one email and wrote 17 letters. And then on 13 December we held a coffee morning and card signing event in the Minehead Methodist Church in the centre of the town. The Mayor of Minehead, Councillor Sandra Slade came along and showed great interest in all the cases. It was another terribly wet and windy day, but we still managed to collect around 40 signatures on each of the cards and letters. Thank you everyone for your support.
