Minehead Group's January 2021 newsletter

Our January 2021 newsletter includes our regular features of 'actions you can take this month', 'campaign updates' and 'diary dates'. We had a successful Write for Rights 2020 campaign, managing to post 110 letters and cards, despite the Covid restrictions and not being able to hold any special events.

We are continuing to meet each month on Zoom and several of our members have joined various on-line talks - such as 'International Human Rights Law and Amnesty', Guantanamo Bay, and the cultural genocide of the Uygur people of  Xinjiang Province in China. We continue to support campaigning in South Asia, led by our member Cherry Bird, who is AIUK's volunteer country coordinator for India and Nepal.
