Minehead Group's February 2018 newsletter

Our February newsletter starts with the exciting news that Ethiopian journalist, Eskinder Nega, has been released from prison. We have been writing letters about Eskinder, an AI prisoner of conscience, for several years so this is particularly heartening news for us.

Other items in the newsletter report on our commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day on 27 January and a successful letter writing afternoon on 14 February. We held our group AGM on 8 February. As well as covering the usual AGM business such as election of officers and presentation of group accounts, we also reviewed the previous year's events and campaign activities.
