Our December newsletter includes information on two forthcoming events. The first is a webinar organised by the SW England Regional Network on Thursday 4 December at 1930, when lawyer Alena Chekhovich will speak about the dreadful situation in her home country of Belarus. The second is a card and letter signing session for this year's Write for Rights (W4R)Campaign. This will be on Friday 5 December at the Quaker Meeting House in Minehead and follows on from the Quakers' monthly 'quiet half hour and soup lunch'. All our invited to join in from the start at 1230 or just come along to sign letters at 1330. All welcome!

The rest of the newsletter includes a report on our W4R letter writing session in November and news from our local Refugee Support Group. There is also an update on South Asia, in particular about the BK16 and events in Kashmir. Actions for this month include sending solidarity messages to the four members of the BK16 who still remain in prison. They, like those conditionally released, still have charges standing against them and none have received a fair or legal trial.
