Liu Xiaobo

Members of our Mid Devon Amnesty Group have written regularly over the past years to Liu Xiaobo, to his wife Liu Xia and to Chinese officials.  We are so sad to know that Liu Xiaobo has passed away, but we will continue to strive for the values and beliefs that Liu Xiaobo worked so hard to express and fulfil. His oppression and determination were and will continue to be our inspiration. We will also continue to support Liu Xia, and try to ensure that she is not forgotten, nor persecuted further.
