Stop Torture Event

Thursday the 26th June is the International day in support of victims of torture. On this day, Amnesty activists all around the world will be taking a stand against torture, in solidarity with victims of torture everywhere.

We are planning to mark this day by launching our campaign with some letter writing and a chance to catch up with Amnesty friends and colleagues. We will be meeting in Kro Bar, One Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester M1 1RG at around 6.30pm on the 26th . The plan will be to mark the occasion by getting together and writing letters on the key cases for the campaign, whilst also enjoying few drinks and a catch-up.
