Manchester Amnesty 85th Silent Vigil for the people of Palestine, Friday, 11th July, 5-6pm

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF OASIS RELATED MERCHANDISE ETC., THIS WEEK AND NEXT, WE WILL PROBABLY NOT BE ABLE TO STAND IN OUR USUAL PLACE AND WILL MOVE TO ANOTHER PART OF THE SQUARE - POSSIBLY THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRAM LINES, SO PLEASE LOOK ROUND FOR US. 

 

Silent vigil for the people of Palestine

invites you to join us in our weekly silent vigil calling for an end to the genocide and the protection of all civilians.

 

St Peters Square, Manchester

Friday July 11th, 5pm to 6pm – meet in front of Library

Feel free to bring a chair if you need one

No placards / No banners / No flags / No chants

 

Weather permitting, we will hold a 60ft long banner, as pictured:

CEASEFIRE NOW; STOP THE GENOCIDE;

HUMANITARIAN AID NOW; STOP ARMS SALES

 

Otherwise, placards will be provided bearing messages including:

 

Protect human rights

Stop war crimes

No ethnic cleansing

Release the hostages

Release political prisoners
