Manchester Amnesty Fortnightly Action and News

Please do these actions and make a difference

You have probably all written repeatedly to your MPs about the appalling situation in Palestine. The news this week continues to be grim, firstly with the interception of the Madleen, crewed by peace activists attempting to deliver aid to Gaza, followed by the isolation of Gaza after the last fibre optic cables were destroyed in an Israeli attack, cutting off the internet. We must keep up the pressure. Here are two emails that you can send in a couple of minutes, with a few clicks. The first, form Medical Aid for Palestinians to your MP calls for an end to the UK’s complicity in Israel’s atrocities. The second, from Greenpeace to the Foreign Secretary David Lammy, calls for an end to arms export licences to Israel, and an end to the blockade of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
