APRIL NEWSLETTER

In the current emergency, we cannot hold events and meet face to face. However, human rights abuses do not stop and may well be compounded by the current situation. We need to continue our work and will be moving on-line, with Facebook virtual events, meetings via Zoom and lots of on-line actions and letter writing.

Here is our April newsletter to download. It includes many things you can do from your own home – PLEASE TAKE ACTION. 

We are delighted with the money the group has raised for Amnesty’s work in Syria, which is being doubled thanks to the generosity of some major donors. If you wish to donate, you have until the end of April to get your contribution worth double.

Our group meeting will be via Zoom this month, same day as scheduled (Monday 6^th April) but at 6.30pm, a slightly earlier time. We will send a link over the weekend to those on our mailing list – look out for it.
