About this group

Here at Amnesty International (Liverpool group) as with Amnesty International as a whole - we are ordinary people standing up for humanity, human rights and justice. Our purpose is to protect individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied. We are a part of Amnesty International UK.

We meet monthly, in a house near Sefton Park, and are always glad to welcome new members. We have a programme of events throughout the year and regularly run local market stalls in support of Human Rights campaigns. You don’t need to be a group member to join in, just come when you can.
