Saturday 11 March: street campaigning in Kingston in support of International Women's Day

To commemorate International Women's Day we are campaigning for Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. You may recall Nazanin's name from substantial media coverage of her case. Charity worker Nazanin, a British-Iranian resident is serving 5 years in prison in Iran for unspecified charges. We will be asking members of the public to sign a petition and to send a card of support to Nazanin.

We will be at the Church Gates at the top of Kingston Market Place KT1 1JP between 10.30 -12.30. Please let Ash know if you can help, and at what times, by text on 07990 018385 or amnestykingston@ymail.com

We will be holding our newly-instituted monthly Saturday meeting in the Church cafe afterwards. This is a new regular meeting for those who can't make our other meeting during the week in New Malden). It is very informal for planning and ideas - plus coffee and cake or lunch!

We have yet to decided on our campaign topic but if you are able to join us any time between 10.30 and 12.30 at our stall by the market place gate to All Saints church, please let Ash know on amnestykingston@ymail.com.
