Monday 15 June: Ice & Fire Theatre event

Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) and Kingston, Richmond and Twickenham groups of Amnesty International invite you to join us for the Refugee Week Celebrations at the Quaker Meeting House, Kingston on Monday,15 June for a performance of 'Asylum Monologues' performed by the acclaimed Ice and Fire company. The production will start at 7pm, followed by a Q/A session with RAK and Amnesty International members. There will be refreshments available from 6.30. This is a first-hand account of the UK’s asylum system in the words of people who have experienced it. Launched at Amnesty International in June 2006,it has been touring the UK ever since, reaching tens of thousands of people. The script is regularly updated with new testimonies.
