Human Rights in Iran: Glasgow West Amnesty January meeting

It's our first meeting of 2016 on Thursday 14th and we're delighted that Krisztina Saroy, Amnesty country co-ordinator for Iran, will be visiting us from London to speak about human rights in Iran. The execution of juvenile offenders, women's rights and the imprisonment of peaceful activists such as the painter Atena Farghadani are just a few of the key issues. For more info see Krisztina's blog.

This is a great chance to find out more about what's happening in Iran, so please come along to hear Krisztina if you can.

Hope to see you there: Thurs 14th January, 7.30pm, Woodlands Methodist Church, 229 Woodlands Road, Glasgow G3 6LW.
