December meeting with mulled wine and mince pies! Thursday 10th, 7.30pm

It's time for the Glasgow West Amnesty International Group's December meeting - featuring mulled wine, mince pies and lots and lots of greetings card-writing! Please come along on Thurs 10th December, at 7.30pm.

As usual at this time of year, we will be writing cards and letters to and for prisoners of conscience featured in Amnesty's Write For Rights campaign (https://www.amnesty.org.uk/issues/Write-for-Rights-2015)

Many of these cases require non-religious/political greetings cards, so please could everyone try to bring some along? These can be hard to find but the Works on Sauchiehall street has a good selection.

Enough mulled wine and mince pies for everyone, but if anyone fancies bringing anything else to eat or drink then please do!

As always, we'll be meeting at 7.30pm at Woodlands Methodist Church, 229 Woodlands Road, Glasgow G3 6LW (opposite DRAM!), in the library, on the ground floor (wheelchair accessible).
