Ronnie Scott's Comes To Ely For An Afternoon Of Summer Jazz

Amnesty International Ely City Group and The Old Fire Engine House are delighted to announce that, following two sell-out concerts, we are once again bringing members of Ronnie Scott’s All Stars to Ely for a memorable afternoon of brilliant jazz.

Heading the line up will be James Pearson, resident pianist and Artistic Director at Ronnie Scott’s famous Soho Jazz Club. Joining James will be other members of his Trio, plus Polly Gibbons, one of the most talked about young singer/songwriters of her generation. Peter Quinn, in Jazzwise, described her as “A truly exceptional, once in a generation talent, possessing a voice of such sizzling intensity and raw emotion you could fry an egg on it.”

This unmissable event will take place in the gardens of the Old Fire Engine House restaurant in St. Mary’s Street from 4 - 6 p.m. on Sunday 7 June.

Tickets are £17.50 per head and include a cream tea or gluten-free alternative. They are available from Burrows Bookshop, 9 High Street Passage, Ely and online at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/315398.

The concert will go ahead rain or shine (no refunds), and all ticket holders are asked to bring a blanket or folding chair. Gates will open at 3.30 p.m. and there will be a licensed bar and a raffle with some fantastic prizes. All profits from the event will go to Amnesty International.

Please join us for an amazing afternoon!
