Jazz Picnic at the Palace

RONNIE SCOTT’S COMES TO ELY FOR A JAZZ PICNIC AT THE PALACE

By kind permission of the King's School, Amnesty International Ely City Group are delighted to announce that, following three sell-out concerts, we are once again bringing members of Ronnie Scott’s All Stars to Ely for a memorable afternoon of brilliant jazz.

Heading the line up will be James Pearson, resident pianist and Artistic Director at Ronnie Scott’s famous Soho Jazz Club. Joining James will be other members of his Trio, plus acclaimed singer/songwriter Polly Gibbons.

This unmissable event will take place in the garden of the Old Palace, Ely, CB7 4EW  (entrance in the Gallery) from 15.00 to 17.30 on Sunday 5 June.

Tickets are £15.00 per head. They are available from Burrows Bookshop, 9 High Street Passage, Ely, and online at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/359788

The concert will go ahead rain or shine (no refunds), and all ticket holders are asked to bring a blanket or folding chair, and a picnic if desired. Gates will open at 14.30 and there will be a Pimms stall and a raffle with some fantastic prizes. All profits from the event will go towards Amnesty International’s work to help end FGM and child marriage in Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso.
