East Devon Amnesty International Group invites you

To a greetings card signing evening

At Twyford House, Coburg Road, Sidmouth

On Thursday 4th December any time  between 6.30 and 9.30 p.m.

Call in and write messages of hope and solidarity to victims of human rights violations and those who defend them.

We will provide cards and seasonal refreshments. Contributions towards postage would be welcome.

Branscome  Supper -A date for for your diary

We are bringing back the famous Amnesty Branscombe Supper - as a result of popular demand. It will take place on April 18th 2015. with the theme "The Silk Road". Details will appear later on our new website.

We need help- and this does not mean attending meetings ! ( but you are always most welcome)

This could be one off help with the Branscombe Supper , or   other fundraising or public events. It could also be particular expertise you have as a result of your work or hobby. e.g. Advertising, running a stall, setting up a  Facebook page and other IT skills, contacts with magazines, contacts with other voluntary organisations whose members might like a talk from us, first hand knowledge of  working in . foreign countries. We do four main things :- 1) Write to governments  concerning prisoners of conscience 2) Write letters of support to prisoners and their relatives 3) try to raise awareness of Amnesty locally 4) Raise funds for Amnesty International UK.
