The Last Sky (2024 documentary, updated Feb '25)

Description:

What is behind Israel's war on Gaza? Why do so many Palestinians support armed struggle? Why are Israel and Hezbollah on the brink of full-scale war? In this hard-hitting debut documentary, Lebanese-Australian lawyer Nicholas Hanna explores these questions and crucial context largely ignored by mainstream media. Filmed in Lebanon and Occupied Palestine, The Last Sky is a documentary for anyone interested in understanding the current Gaza war and the escalating conflict in the region.

Please share this invite with friends who want to learn more than what they hear via mainstream media.

The Corn Hall Cafe will be open as normal before the film and during the interval.  You can pre-order an interval drink from the Cafe.  Please bring water with you if you think you might need it during the screening.

We hope our screenings will increase our knowledge and understanding and do so in a community setting rather than isolated in our own homes. There will be time to gently chat among ourselves during the interval and after the film if we wish; no need to rush out if you just want to sit for a while.
