There are always work to do despite the lockdown

Despite lockdown it has still been a busy few months for our amnesty group. We have been exploring new ideas for virtual fundraising, and recently held an auction of promises. We successfully raised £515 and promises included scones, flowers, virtual workshops and even a picnic by the sea. We continue to work on cases on the North Africa region and meet remotely every month. This month we took part in the annual write for rights campaign, writing letters of solidarity to those whose human rights have been violated and letters to put pressure on political leaders and governments around the world.
