Thank you to everyone who joined the Amnesty International Croydon Group for our exciting Salsa Dance Night on Friday, October 24th! Hosted at Cedar Hall in Ruskin House, the evening was a fantastic blend of fun, dance, and crucial fundraising for Amnesty International. Attendees first enjoyed a vibrant salsa taster and tutorial from 7:30-8:30 pm, where they learned a new skill and met new people, before moving onto the social dance session until 10:30 pm. The event, which championed Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights—the right to freedom of movement— was made even better by the delicious buffet supper served during the social dance. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Dialogue Society for their generous donation of food, which helped make the evening a great success and ensured that even more of the £10 ticket price went directly to supporting human rights work
