August 2012 - Update

A member of the Croydon Amnesty International group meets Burmese comedian, Zaganar.  In November 2008 he was sentenced to 59 years in prison for criticising the Burmese government's response to Cyclone Nargis.  On appeal this was reduced to 35 years.  Croydon Amnesty International group in 2011 campaigned for his release.  He was released on 11th October 2011 in a mass amnesty of political prisoners.
