February 2021 newsletter now available

Your Amnesty Group Newsletter: February 2021 and reports for the 2020/2021 year

Your February 2021 newsletter includes an update on our current campaigning actions on Egypt plus an invitation to join a repeat of the successful online Egypt meeting, where you can join Amnesty activists from across the UK.

We would normally be preparing for our Group AGM to take place in March, but we propose postponing the AGM and election of committee until a physical meeting is possible for Group members, in the hope that by the end of the summer we have a clearer idea of the possibility of resuming 'normal' activities. We would however like to provide you with our annual reports as a committee, which are included with this Newsletter.  I hope that you will be reassured that we have continued to support human rights activists around the world throughout the pandemic, and particularly those human rights activists in Egypt, our current campaign, which sadly continues to arouse a great deal of concern.
