South East Regional Conference, 2015

Amnesty staff and volunteers hold a range of conferences around the UK across the year, offering a great way to meet other active supporters, share your interests and passion for human rights, and to learn more about Amnesty's campaigning work.

The South East Regional conference this year is hosted by the Bognor Regis, Chichester & District group.

Agenda includes:

• Celia Ouellette of "Reprieve" on death row prisoners in the US
• Lesley Burgess, Country Co-ordinator for the Philippines on the Stop Torture Campaign
• Workshops on current Amnesty issues
• Presentation by senior member of staff at Amnesty International UK

Help from group members to staff the venue, help with setting up and providing refreshments is essential; you should also hear interesting and engaging speakers and be involved in stimulating workshops.
