Afghanistan: A difficult birth. Women and human rights in Afghanistan (Rescheduled date)

In Afghanistan 26,000 women die from pregnancy related causes each year (1 woman every 27 minutes) accounting for half of all deaths among women of reproductive age. In rural areas the risk of death from childbirth is 1 in 3.
