Civilians are paying the price in the Israel / Gaza crisis.

The escalating crisis in Israel and Gaza has already killed and injured thousands of people. A humanitarian disaster is ongoing, as 2.2 million people in Gaza are being deliberately denied life-saving essentials like food, water, medicine, and electricity. International law requires those engaged in armed conflict to protect civilian lives. Collective punishment is a war crime.

Right now, Amnesty International is investigating mass summary killings, indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks, hostage taking, and siege tactics. We have condemned Hamas’ actions as potential war crimes. We are urgently calling on the Israeli authorities to immediately lift the illegal blockade of Gaza and allow unimpeded access to humanitarian aid. We are pushing the International Criminal Court to speed up its investigation and to help find out the truth of events like those at the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza City.

Will you help protect civilian lives and expose war crimes? Your support could help fund our specialist Crisis Evidence Lab to use the latest technology to investigate and expose war crimes. Amnesty International’s evidence could be essential in bringing war criminals to justice.
