Books for Amnesty Kentish Town
We are thrilled to announce that the Kentish Town bookshop will reopen our doors from Monday 13 July!
Thank you for your patience whilst we’ve been getting everything ready, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you to the shop again.
Opening days and times may vary for the foreseeable future while we work to get fully up and running again and we will keep them updated on this page. If you are making a special journey to the shop, please ring and check that we will be open. Our planned opening hours for next week are:
Monday 13 July: 11am – 5pm
Tuesday 14 July: 11am – 5pm (Donation Day)
Wednesday 15 July: 11am - 5pm
Thursday 16 July: 11am - 2pm
Friday 17 July: Closed
Saturday 18 July: Closed
Due to space restrictions, we can only accept donations on Tuesdays and Saturdays. If you have a donation of 100+ books, or 5+ boxes / large shopping bags, please either call or email, the shop: 0207 428 0134 / email@example.com before traveling, to check that we have enough space to accept it and to arrange a time. For everyone’s safety, all donations will be quarantined for 72 hours. As always, please do not leave donations outside the shop.

The newest of our book shops - Amnesty Kentish Town is based in London, on Kentish Town Road, just a few minutes’ walk from Kentish Town underground station and on major bus routes.
We are delighted to be part of this vibrant shopping area and community, and look forward to welcoming you there.

Books For Amnesty
308 Kentish Town Road
We're just a few minutes’ walk from Kentish Town underground station and there are major bus routes running outside the shop.
- Monday-Saturday: 10am - 6pm
- Sunday: 11am - 3pm
- The shop is accessed directly from the pavement, with no steps. No steps within the shop itself
- You can load and unload in front of the shop between 10.00am – 4.00pm
Volunteer Our shops are run mainly by volunteers and we are often looking for more! If you’re interested in helping and can spare four hours a week, please pop in for a chat and an application form. You can also download the role outline and application form below.
Donate Got books you’re no longer reading? Vinyls you no longer listen to. Don't put them in the attic - bring them down to the shop and donate, to support human rights. We also accept CDs and DVDs.
