Our Cambridge shop has been serving the local community since 1998. This friendly bookshop stocks second hand books covering most subjects, with particular strengths in fiction, art, and philosophy.

Books for Amnesty Cambridge is based at:

We are just a ten minute walk away from the centre of Cambridge and fifteen minutes from the train station.

The shop is open Monday - Saturday, closed on Sunday.  Please call the shop for further details.

Accessibility

  • The shop is on one level with a small doorstep at the front
  • Pay-and-display car park behind the Bath House, on the corner of Mill Road
  • On-street pay-and-display off Mill Road in Devonshire Road and in Mill Street and the top of Glisson Road

Get involved

Volunteer Our shops are run mainly by volunteers so we’re always looking for more! If you’re interested in helping out and can spare four hours a week, please pop in for a chat and an application form. You can also download the role outline and application form below.  

Donate Got records you haven’t listened to for years? Or books you’re no longer reading? Don't put them in the attic, bring them down to the shop and donate to support human rights. We also accept CDs and DVDs.
