Guatemala....

I'm just back from a trip to Guatemala with photographer Angela Catlin and we are in the process of trying to sell our work to newspapers, magazines and radio. We spent two weeks in Guatemala City, surely one of the most violent capital cities in the world at the moment, to document the violence and lawlessness. December is the 10th anniversary of the end of Guatemala's civil war but still there seems no end to the murder and mayhem. We investigated the staggering number of murders of women, documented gang violence on the streets, and were given privileged access to a secret police archive that could lead to the convictions of people accused of genocide during the war.
