Tiananmen will not be forgotten
Kate Adie writes on the BBC website that Tiananmen will not be forgotten and she returned to Tiananmen on this evening's BBC 2 programme. I missed all but the last part of the film but like many Amnesty supporters I already knew that the Chinese government is still unwilling to be open about what happened in the square 20 years ago.
United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has urged China to account publicly for the people who were killed when the protests in Tiananmen Square were suppressed.
