The disease that kills so many children

Which infection causes the greatest number of deaths of children in the world?  You might guess malaria or HIV/AIDS but the surprising answer is that pneumonia takes the biggest toll.

The Guardian article says that last year the WHO and UNICEF published a plan for cutting the number of child deaths from malaria.  The three main things needed are: exclusive breast-feeding of babies, immunisation to protect children and the giving of antibiotics for children suffering pneumonia.  Yes it would cost a bit but the world's children surely have the right to these measures?
