Irish Blog Awards: nominated!

Am at home in my sick bed, popping penicillin and paracetemol like sweeties, but just wanted to post a quick 'ta very much' to those who nominated Belfast and Beyond for the Irish Blog Awards.

We've been nominated in the News / Current Affairs Blog category as well as for the best Blog Post of the Year (for this one from July last).

We're up against hundreds of other great blogs, so let me say now: it's not the winning that counts, its the taking part! This is especially true of the blogosphere which is, or at least ought to be, more about conversation than competition. It's good that human rights is a key part of that conversation.

Check out other nominees here.
