ACT NOW to stop Iranian authorities executing a teacher trade unionist

This weekend, Iranian-Kurdish political activist and teacher trade unionist Farzad Kamangar faces the threat of imminent education, and Education International are asking people to join an email protest calling on the Iranian authorities to commute the death penalty.

Farzad has been jailed on the nebulous charges of 'endangering national security' and 'enmity against god', and has been tortured in jail for his activism. The Iranian regime doesn't like people who show loyalty to anyone except the Iranian state – and Farzad's life is under threat because of his loyalty to his fellow teachers and fellow Kurds.

We need to show our loyalty to him, and join the protest against this barbaric punishment.
