Tell the world: We stand together #againsthate

Recorded reports of hate crimes soared since the UK voted to leave the EU on 23 June.

Hate crimes can have a devastating and long-lasting impact not only on victims but also on their communities.

Our government has a responsibility to do its best to prevent these kinds of discriminatory attacks and make sure that there is justice for victims. Politicians should also be making sure that their political rhetoric doesn’t add to the problem.

We're conducting research into the rise of hate crimes in the UK, working with academic experts to look at what the government is and is not doing to live up to its responsibilities, and how that affects people's lives.
