Books for Amnesty Great Malvern

Reopening

We are delighted to be able to open our bookshop again, but things will be a bit different from before lockdown.

We only have a minority of volunteers able to staff the shop, so opening hours will be restricted. If somebody is unable to do their shift, we might not be able to provide cover, so if you are coming from any distance, please phone first to make sure the shop is actually open.

As our opening hours may change with time, please keep an eye on the website or the shop door for any changes. Aside from all these caveats, from Friday July 24th our hours will be:

Monday         Closed

Tuesday        Closed

Wednesday   10am - 4pm

Thursday       10am - 4pm

Friday            10am - 4pm

Saturday       10am - 4pm

Sunday          Closed

A maximum of four customers will be allowed in the shop at any one time. There is a one-way system in force, and, of course, the 2m physical distancing rules apply. Face masks must be work within the shop, and customers will be required to use hand-sanitising gel on entry.

Donations

We shall be quarantining all donations for 72 hours. As we have very little space in which to store them, please phone (01684 563507) to make sure that we are able to accept them before bringing them in. As always; do not leave donations outside the shop.

Our Great Malvern shop has been serving the local community for over fifteen years. With nearly ten thousand high quality second hand books there is something for everyone in this welcoming shop.

Come along to browse and buy the best in:

  • Second-hand books, both fiction and non-fiction.
  • Children's books
  • Vinyl
  • CDs and DVDs
  • Maps and guides
  • Sheet music
