On Sunday October 20th, 2019, the 44th edition of the TCS Amsterdam Marathon will take place. There are five events scheduled on the day: the TCS Marathon, the Mizuno Half Marathon, the TCS 8K run, the Kids Run and the Mini Marathon.
The TCS Amsterdam Marathon is known for its fast and beautiful course starting and finishing in the historical Olympic Stadium.

The route follows the Amstel River, passing stately homes and iconic windmills. Runners also get the opportunity to view Amsterdam’s urban landscape and famed landmarks, such as the Olympic Stadium, Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark, and Zuidas.

To emphasise the social importance of sustainability, in 2012 Le Champion joined forces with the municipality of Amsterdam to run a pilot project designed to make the TCS Amsterdam Marathon more sustainable.
